Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward has dropped the pounds and is firing on all cylinders as he recovers from a shoulder injury ahead of the new season.

Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward has shed 10 pounds and is looking sharper than ever as he gears up for the new season.
And frankly, it's the kind of dedication fans want to see.
Ward turned heads at the Titans' first OTA practice open to the media, appearing noticeably slimmer than his 219-pound frame from last season.
The young signal-caller has been laser-focused on his diet, carefully monitoring his calorie, protein, and carbohydrate intake. Why? Because he wants to be faster and more durable when it matters most.
That's commitment.
There were genuine concerns about Ward's right shoulder after he picked up an injury in the final game of last season. He'd taken every single snap for his team before going down.
But those worries appear to be firmly in the past.
During practice, Ward was pinging the ball around with serious velocity. A long touchdown throw to rookie Carnell Tate and a crisp pass to tight end Gunnar Helm showed his arm is very much back in business.
Titans head coach Robert Saleh confirmed what everyone could see with their own eyes – Ward's arm is healthy and the velocity is there.
It's not just Ward making changes. The entire Titans organisation is taking nutrition seriously.
The team's nutritional staff have overhauled the cafeteria, including removing seed oils from the menu. Veteran safety Amani Hooker says the changes have had a genuinely positive impact on the players' well-being.
Smart thinking from the top down.
If Ward can stay healthy and maintain this level of dedication, Titans fans have every reason to be excited about what's coming next.
